Here are the Pokémon you might encounter (excluding evolutions) in forest areas.
The Regional form of Skitty and its special evolution Maiacatty. Inspired by feral cats (domestic cats returned to the wild) for the pattern, but also cuddly and protective cats as we see on the internet, for the Fairy type.
A Boar, drawing inspiration from several things that are not clearly seen in the design of the Pokémon. His concept had to mix "Gallic and Scandinavian culture" with the round shape of a polished stone sculpture and the simple shape of cartoon boars. The name Gabbroar refers to a rock called the Gabbro.
A Roe deer that takes on the electric type as it evolves, in keeping with the energetic and fast side of these forest deer. Basically, his antlers should refer to parts of electronic components (like the 2 rods of a diode) but it is not easy to represent.
