Living in a warm temperate environment, the scorpion, like its congeners in our world, has acquired the ability to save itself: that is, to slow down its body during a period of diet. Except that the HADO perfected this ability by learning to hibernate during the cold, dry winters of its range. Thus by knowing how to measure its actions, it can live a long time and have a longevity as high as its prey! According to what has been noted, HADOs can live over 30 years and the record is held by the great "Serket" a female bleached by age, who has reached the honorable age of 52 years.
