Here are the Pokémon you might encounter (excluding evolutions) in the Sand Dunes biomes.
A Gecko, strongly inspired by leopard geckos, I was also inspired by the Tiliqua rugosa and the Amphisbaena of mythology. But I didn't want to make a Pokemon with 2 real heads, so I stayed realistic and made it a fake head tail.
A Scorpion... I'm not hiding it, it's my favorite animal, so I had to make one! I went through a lot of design (sometimes very far or too close to Skorupi's design) but it was thanks to the superb Akura Vashimu from MH Frontier that I was able to finalize my concept.
A goby of the genus Periophthalme. The base Pokémon is simply fish-based, but its evolution is inspired by Murlocs from WOW (I love those fish-men too), so I wanted to give it a stature and fins that would make it look like those creatures.
