18Scorpii-4 The Scorpinian

The Scorpinians are native to the planet 18Scorpii-4. Calling themselves Súkòségā, they are the equivalent of the human species on this planet. They are relatively small, covered in a sort of chitinous exoskeleton and have 6 long limbs, including 4 arms. Technologically as advanced as humanity between the 22nd and 23rd centuries.

The Scorpinians are part of the group classified as "Hi-He", a group that consists of animals similar to hyenas or primates depending on the environment. Also, this group is normally characterized by membranous wings on the back, but it seems that the Scorpinians have kept only an atrophied version of these gliding appendages.
Their head has a semblance of resemblance to the head of an owl, with large eyes and a mouth that takes the form of a small beak. But they also have small antennae and ears with external pinnae, which play a role in non-verbal communication (since the face does not have many facial muscles due to the exoskeleton).

Carnivore with an opportunistic omnivorous tendency, their food culture is mainly oriented towards the breeding of small animals and arthropods. Their culture is also greatly influenced by short-circuit trade that forms a long chain of supply and demand without any particular excess.

On the linguistic side, Scorpinians have several languages that have a lot of resemblance to Chinese and Japanese, with the use of syllables represented by phonetic symbols differentiated by tones or accents.
A small peculiarity, it is not impossible for a human to learn their languages, despite the complexity, but the Scorpinians do not know how to learn human languages with Western phonetics and have therefore learned to speak an equivalent of Mandarin Chinese to adapt to us (despite their difficulty in pronouncing certain consonants like "M" or "P").
